NEET 2025 Eligibility Criteria 

The eligibility criteria for NEET 2025 are expected to remain consistent with the previous year. Key requirements include: 

• Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have either passed or be scheduled to appear for the Class 12 Board examination or an equivalent qualification, with mandatory subjects including Chemistry, Physics, Biology/Biotechnology, and English. 
• Minimum Aggregate Scores: 
• General category candidates must secure a minimum of 50% aggregate. 
• Candidates from reserved categories must achieve at least 45% (General-PWD) and 40% (SC, ST, OBC, Reserved PWD). 
• Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least 17 years old by the time of admission, with the minimum date of birth set as December 31, 2008. There is no upper age limit. 
• Eligibility for Indian Nationals and OCIs: Indian nationals and Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) wishing to pursue MBBS/BDS from foreign universities must also qualify for NEET 2025. 

Changes introduced last year allow candidates who studied additional subjects in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Biotechnology, and English, as well as those who completed schooling through Open Schools, to be eligible for the examination. 

NEET 2025 Application Form Process 

The NEET 2025 application forms will be made available online at the official exam website. Here’s a step-by-step guide for the application process: 

1. Visit the official NEET 2025 website: neet.ntaonline.in or exams.nta.ac.in/NEET. 
2. Click on the NEET 2025 Registration tab under the Latest News section. 
3. Carefully read the instructions and check the agreement checkbox. 
4. Enter mandatory personal and contact details to generate a password. 
5. Verify your details by entering the OTP received on your mobile number and email address. 
6. Registration credentials, including the application number and password, will be sent via email. 
7. Log in with the NEET 2025 registration credentials to complete the application form. 
8. Fill in all mandatory sections, including personal information, educational background, medium of question paper, exam city preference, and upload necessary documents (photograph, signature, thumb impressions, category certificate, etc.). 
9. Pay the application fee through online methods such as Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
